A LITTLE PREPARATION

Take seasick medication the night before if needed for your St Augustine fishing charter on the Channel Master. Please pack light and arrive a little early for your fishing charter . Take as few coolers as possible for your food and drinks. Don't forget cameras, sunscreen, sunglasses, rubber soled shoes (avoid black soled shoes), hat, comfortable clothing and old rags or towels. You'll want to bring a spare container and leave it in your vehicle for your cleaned fish after the fishing charter.

THE TRIP

Your fishing charter will leave on schedule. You should check with the captain the night before to discuss weather, ask any questions and verify the departure time. All bait and tackle is provided. You should bring your own food unless other arrangements for catering the trip have been made. Many customers graciously include the captain in their planning when packing provisions.

The captain will demonstrate the proper use of the rod and reel, as well as teach you how to bait and set the hook. The captain will also keep you in bait, gaff the fish brought in and unhook it, ice down your catch and keep the boat clean. Always attentive, the captain is dedicated to providing you with a memorable trip on the Channel Master.

BACK AT THE DOCK

The captain will assist your party so you may take pictures of your catch and then clean, fillet and package your fish if desired. Please Note: Tipping the captain is customary and well deserved for their long hours . Enjoy charter fishing deep sea fishing and sport fishing with our professionals on the Channel Master in Saint Augustine Florida .
